For Sale Section - Guidelines

These guidelines are here to help ensure that the 'For Sale' section is useful and relevant for SV650.org members. Please read these guidelines before posting any items in this section.

This section is for SVs and SV specific parts only. Any post made containing items not allowed will be moved or deleted.

Items Permitted in 'For Sale'

All SV motorcycles
SV specific accessories and spares

Items Not Permitted in 'For Sale'

Motorcycles other than SVs
Non-biking items
Items Wanted (please see the 'Stuff Wanted' section)
Non SV specific items

Items not permitted in the 'For Sale' section may be posted, by regular contributors, in 'Idle Banter' at the discretion of site admin and moderators.

Auctions

No items may be put up for auction or any form of bidding. Items must be offered for sale for a specified amount and if postage is required this should be stated.

eBay Links

Please refrain from posting eBay links to items unless it is your own item for sale. If you spot an item on eBay that is of interest to another member then please try to contact them by PM.

Trade Advertising.

Trade advertising is not permitted in this section without the express permission of the Site Admin. Please contact admin or Admin2 by PM for further information.

Unsolicited Advice

Any advice you may have in relation to items for sale, for example guidance on asking price, should be sent by PM unless the seller has specifically solicited this advice.

Code of Conduct

This section is not for general chit-chat or gossip, discuss any queries or thoughts in Idle Banter or PM the seller for more information.

Anyone found to be derailing threads, trolling or spamming will be dealt with by the Section Moderators or The Admin Crew.

Sellers should be honest and accurate with their claims and descriptions of goods and buyers should stick to their word and stand by any agreements made.

This section is here as a service to members who should perform their own checks before entering into any transaction.
