View Full Version : Russell Brand....
Anyone see his show last night. Pondering or something...
Damn that guy had me in fits of laughter..
Tell me lads, was your "daddies will going brown as he got older"
Although he's a bit off his trolly and a bit of a mad un, his views on the world are pretty good. Funny guy... Think he's got a book coming out, My Little Booky Wooky or something

I just cannot stand the bloke. I turn off the radio as soon as I hear him. I would sooner put radio 3 on or football

RB is the most overrated 'comic' (used in the very loosest sense of the word) since PK.
Neither are funny IMHO

No ... but check out George Carlin ... he's funny IMO
I'm a Peter Kay fan, but a bit undecided about Russell Brand.
Can't decide whether he's up his own ar$e or a bit funny really.

Have a listen to Mitchell and Webb
Oh dear, can't believe I am saying this but for some (very) strange reason I find him attractive.

RB - a truly knob faced knobster.
I think RB is yummy. He was on paul o grady the other night with Pam aires and they were really amusing. He has a gentleness about him and a very expressive face .... I wouldnt kick him out of ....
oh better not other half might read this!
Dont like his stand up (oh er!) but I do like his ability to converse with all types of people.
Oh I like Peter Kay too ..... but I would kick him out of ....

Russell Brand lives on the same road as me, and scowls a lot.
He also inhabits a talent vacuum.
I used to hate him when he did Big Brothers Big Mouth, but since seeing him on the most recent Secret Policemans Ball thought he was quite good. Loved the ponderland series too.
I always knew he was a wrong un'!! (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article64272.ece)

He's funny! You just need to give him a bit of time to realise he isn't quite the idiot he sounds. Peter Kay's just a walking joke book, having an accent isn't the only criteria for being a comedian.
 Talk about haters....
I find him highly amusing. No polictical correctness. Just a bit off his head and says what he thinks.
I like randoms
Peter Kay, loved his Peter Kay live, but not seen anything else he's done as funny.
am i the only person that thinks Peter Kay sucks his jokes are rejects from the 60s ooo wheres me wash board lol, Russell Brand is thoughty and zainy, i dont like Frank Carson also
I cant stand bruce forsyth
had to get it in .... now he really is a nob faced nobster

Wouldn't class him as a comic. Don't quite know what he's for other than to fill tabloids and titillate with weak risque-ness.
Not my cup of tea but whatever floats your boat.

Was in Bluewater on Friday evening, apparently he was in Waterstones signing his book (behind a curtain). Queue stretched from Waterstones to John Lewis and back and was 99% teenage females and their mums.
Have to say I haven't been getting out much lately and my first thought was "Who the fek is "Russell Brand?, Wasn't he the fat guy who used to do the horoscopes?"
i think he's ok, average. but couldnt listen to him for too long
if you want a funny radio show, listen to adam and joe on radio 6 saturday mornings. very funny!
