Well there were loads of bikes up at the Five Ways Cafe in Buxton. A few SV's too, pretty brave guys on the roads up there. It was 'kin freezing!

Pheasant Plucker rally was at Taddington (6m E of Buxton) over this weekend, and it threw it down with snow from about 3am onwards (was still doing it at 2pm) there. Rough turnout would be about 250, and cars were being turned away all night according to the organising club.

I think you'll find that the cafe there is the first place where the snow has receeded, and the people are there trying to thaw their bits out [-o<

It rained all day here and then this evening it has dumper about 1" of snow, this was earlier when i first noticed it was snowing.
