Hi folks,

I'm selling my 2000 SV650 S as I cannot afford to get it insured at my new place! Sad to see it go but hopefully it will go to someone deserving. Here are the details:

2000 (X) Suzuki SV650S - Colour Black
Mileage: 9388
MOT: Valid to 20th Aug 2008
TAX: Currently SORN but can re-tax at new owners expense if required.
Mods: Carbon Can Company Stainless Steel exhaust (w new baffle included ;))
Black Fabbri Double Bubble Screen
Security: DataTag

It's in absolutely great condition with very low mileage. I bought it in October 2005 and think I've only put 3000 miles or so on it over the last 2 years. It had a full service in August so is running great.

The bike is in West London and can be viewed on weekends. Feel free to email me if you want more pics. I'll probably be selling my Frank Thomas Leather set too so PM me if you want more details.

I'm looking for £1800 ONO. I will entertain sensible offers but given the low mileage and excellent condition, it really is a good deal.

No Interest? Am I way off the mark with the price or something? If so, let me know.

Well since you asked-----
I take it the bike is MOTd to 2008,not 2007 as stated, and it is in really good undamaged condition and with a genuine low mileage. If so,I think your asking price is reasonable if you are prepared to negotiate. The problem you have is that at this time of year the market is on the slow side of stationary, hence very few takers.Spring is a much better time to sell.

What he said re:MOT if it's to 2008 then I may be interested, however mileage does not go with age of bike.

Apologies all. MOT is to 2008. I was looking at the issue date for some moronic reason.

As for the mileage, it's genuine and happy to provide details for any checks. When I bought the bike, it had 6,000 miles on it. I work for a consultancy company so am out of town Mon-Thurs each week, hence the bike doesnt get much riding. Over the last few years, I have used it to commute from West London to the City on Fridays and then rode about on weekends during Spring/Summer.

I've dug up the old docs that i have and here is the mileage:

MOT Issue Date 30 April 2005 - Mileage 3836
MOT Issue Date 31 July 2006 - Mileage 7701
MOT Issue Date 21 August 2007 - Mileage 9358
Current Milleage - 9388.

As I said, I'm open to offers to if you are interested, let's chat.
