Got a bit of a big one again this morning.

I was driving down the A2 and all the cars in front of me were slowing right up and eventually stopped towards the kidbrooke flyover/turn-off. I got a little closer and could see the road ahead was totally clear but there were some people standing around in a group, a few more yards on and there it was a bike on the floor with a rider in a sort of modified recovery position, helmet still on and very lifeless.

It was a straight bit of road so my guess would be either diesel under braking or a car has decided to pull out on him.

I didn't stop as I think there were enough people there already and I would've been an obstruction.

Just hope he/she is OK.

Made me think! We do this every day on our daily commutes, just takes a split second to make a mistake or for some idiot to pull out on you.

Take care as the weather gets worse out there.

I had one pull out on me last week, luckily he hesitated before doing it so I had a bit of a warning and all was fine!

Well I been to another accident today, the driver stacked the car into some railings after cliping a

KEEP LEFT MARKER went right across the road, and crunch not much left of the front of the car. Please now understand why I said what I did yesterday. It was down to dumb look no one was hurt.....they were 2 1/2 times over the limit, the driver couldn't understand why I wasn't impressed.

Was that the crash outside Finchley Central tube station? There was an accident there that looked similar to your description, with two fire engines, ambulances and police there.
