7 When I ride in town I like to able to hear everything that is going on around me, I feel safer that way and helps me to make judgements.

8 I wear glasses even with the Arai RX7 it still steams up when I come to a come to stop which a real pain the ass. Also heavy rain makes it hard to see where I am going as evetually the visor just mists.

Other drivers most of them are f*** wits and don't look and are too busy talking on the phone or scratching their ass. Most driver have no advanced vison so no planning.

My feet get cold (probally need thermal socks) and the tips of my fingers. Oh I spend a small fourtune on my bike I'm addicted but love to much to ever stop:cheers:

Good luck with your course dude!

It makes me ride like a ****. Really. Proper, 60 in 30 past a school, run from the police sort of stuff. Although oddly, this is only when listening on headphones; when the music comes from a bike's speakers I find it placates me if anything, although that may well be more to do with the sort of bike (tourer).

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)

6. If answered yes to question 5, would you be interested in purchasing wireless equipment which allows you to listen to music while riding?

No

7. If answered no to question 5, why?
Cause I would want custom earphones which will always have a wire. If you have a wire then you may as well connect it to your MP3 instead of the wireless receiver.

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)
Length of time to get your kit on.
The fact that you cant reasonably go shopping or visit somewhere without changing first and if you do change then where do you put your kit.
Lack of storage without panniers or top box.

Yes, but you'd need some pretty good noise cancelling software in there to get rid of the noise, which seems to ruin the mid range freqencies. In ear speakers would be best for blocking out noise but still not needing very loud volume. I'd prefer to be board than deaf when i arrive somewhere!

4b. Leathers (years)
B – 2-3 - Obviously a big off might change this, but in the past 2 years, I have lost weight so I bought new stuff to keep a good fit, rather than it wearing out necessarily

A – 1-2 - Like helmets - inside of boots break down and get loose, gloves wore through in the finger tips after 1-2years!
5. Do you listen to music while riding your motorcycle?

Nope

7. If answered no to question 5, why?

Most of my riding is on the track these days and I need to concentrate! Plus earphones are uncomfortable when wearing a good fitting helmet

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)

Nothing really. If things were less expensive, then that would be nice. However I know the costs involved and are prepared to accept them, so not really an irritation

You can get noise cancelling headphones, which should block out the wind noise/blast....not sure how effective they would be on a bike, don't plan to find out either. But would be useful for you I guess, when riding, seen then in shops ect I would spend at least ฃ50 on them, you can't get good quaility sound gear that is cheap. But I haven't used then, and when I used to record sound for TV programs, I would use HD25 as my first choice, but they won't fit under a lid!

Not being able to turn up to work looking smart

If you're developing a headphone system, my main gripe is that mp3 players aren't loud enough, and even th earplug headphones don't really work properly. I like to listen to spoken audio and can never hear anything at 70mph. I'd like a rated earplug with a decent headphone in.

7. Concentration and being able to hear other things around me and the noise from the exhaust when I open the throttle. In 15 years it's a sound I've never get bored of.
8. Getting sweaty when I put on all my gear. Poor visor seals that sometimes lets rain in during heavy showers. That last one is probably a result of me only spending up to ฃ200 on a helmet.
