View Full Version : Dentists
.. now i dont usually whinge about stuff.. (okay maybe i do a little bit) but I am going to have to have wisdom teeth pulled and to be honest the pain of my teeth are taking second place to the pain of being told how much I will have to pay for the privilege of having them removed!!.
Dentists arent the only ones though that charge a horrid amount of money to cause pain to people .. for example there are those that i refer to as bone crunchers.. yes you guessed it chiropracticers..
so who else gets paid to cause so much pain (keep it clean people!) .. and what sort of person goes into these proffessions???!!!!

I had my wisdoms removed on the NHS... :smt017 Had to wait about 6 months mind, but was almost worth it for the sedation! the last thing I remember is the doctor sticking the tube in and saying "can you feel anything yet?" and me saying "No...no...no...oh wait *big smile* ahhh riiiiight :smt101"
On the plus side, she was a rather attractive student doctor, had the choice between old but very qualified doctor or young attractive doctor who wasn't exactly 100% qualified... No contest really.

well at least you're not likely to get a particularly sadistic dentist for your op - they like to have people awake through the pain...
oh and good luck BTW!

Dentists are just wrong.
Wrong wrong WRONG y'hear.
Thay are the ******* spawn of a Lawyer and a Traffic Warden that has been cultivated in a secret vat on the ninth level of hell.
Never before had man known such pain, at such cost, from so few.
Their emergence from the depths of the dark ages into our so-called enlightened world is proof enough of the self-destructive nature of humanity.
I make these utterances in the full and secure knowledge that my cousin grew up wanting to be a dentist - a dream he achieved, enabling him to move from a small North Welsh town to living in London on the fat finacial profit of fear and loathing...
... and he was a right wierdo as a kid! ;)

I'll do it for a tenner. You'll have to supply your own vodka though.

You can't blame the Dentists from all going private. With fuel prices increasing it's harder for them to run a Range Rover.
