Here's a couple of love letters I received when I was about 8 (circa. 1989). Hope you like them!

(Another added - 22/11/2007)

Ah bless, how sweet is that?

I'd try and find her, meet up and shower her that letter and see how red she goes

Awwwww

Letter writing seems to be a dying art now.

Especially love letters.

Texts and e-mails are just not the same.

True. A very mature eight year old.

When I was her age I still believed girls were made of sugar and spice and everything nice, and boys were just a nuisance. :p

My daughters turning 8 in a couple of months - hopefully she sticks with Barbie dolls for a few more years yet - another 12 would be just perfect :)

That letter was very "awwwww"

I never got love letters when i was a child. No girls loved me but my mum, my sister and my cat.

Ha ha.

Takes me back to my days of working at a holiday camp in the summers between between the ages of 13 - 15 in the mid 80's. My mates and I all used to get letters from our "conquests", we'd read them out to each other and have a good laugh each week.

Nice thing was it was all relatively innocent (upstairs inside at best), no harm done, no STD's contracted, no babies made. We used to nick booze from the stock room after our shift then go skinny dipping in the outdoor pool and get pi**ed. I recall one night I drank an entire crate of Babycham myself (24 bottles) - to this day I can't stand the smell of the stuff.

I'm sure these days things are different, but back then Corey Haim couldn't have held a candle to me in my turquoise suit (MiamiVice style), cersie grandad shirt and deck shoes.

Club Tropicana drinks are free...... :smt046

Any racey photo will do luv... Anything from the 70's really ;) Although that would probably put you more in your teens than twenties.
