I've decided its time to sell my k6 SV, I bought it new in august 2006 and have used it to ride too and from my work, the down side of this is I travel 100 miles a day (motorway miles) and in the last year and 4 months i've covered 14,000 miles on it. The bike is very well looked after, it isnt used when the roads are salty and is washed and dried after every ride wether it needs it or not. It had its first service done by the dealer it was purchased from and since then the servicing has been carried out by myself, Ive changed the oil AND filter every 3000 miles using castrol oil and genuine Suzuki filters, and the plugs were replaced at 10K. The bike doesnt often get put under much strain, I weigh under 10st and I travel on the M77 to work which is notorious for speed traps so the majority of the mileage has been sitting at about 70-80 in top gear with the odd thrash here and there. The following has been done to the bike,

New EBC front brake pads

2 new tyres with under 1000 miles on them

New D.I.D gold x-ring chain and sprockets at same time as tyres

OEM single seat conversion - original seat and grab rail included

Powerbronze Black smoked screen - original included

wheels have been powdercoated white and look brilliant!

K&N air filter - Original included

tail tidy - original plastic mounting included

Sv1000 Belly pan

33hp ECU which is included but not fitted, the certificate is present and I can fit the restrictor if required

the bike currently has a Micron Oval End can on it however it has been welded and is very rough looking and will be removed before sale, the original can has been sleeved and will be re-fitted. If the buyer wants the Micron anyway they can take it.

The bike really is in great condition, its only negative is the mileage, which is nothing for a japanese bike but is obviously well over average for its age. the engine runs perfectly, there are no strange noises or starting problems.

I'm selling it because ive had a pay rise and can now afford to travel to and from work every day in my car and I fancy something a bit more wild for the weekends.

The bike is taxed until Jan 08 but ive lost the disc, if required i'll stick 6 months tax on it before it sells.

the bike is for sale for 3000, if anyone is interested please PM me and i'll give you my phone number. thanks, Tom.

Any Chance you'd be interested in selling the 33bhp ECU separately?
If so how much?

Hi i know this is going to sound a bit crazy but were you selling a bmw rockster a year or two ago?

Hi, sorry but the kit isnt for sale seperately. Garry, I'm afraid I'm not the BMW Rockster seller lol. The bike is still unactively for sale, I'll prob keep it for another year but if I was offered ?2500 it would certainly be for sale. cheers, Tam.
