Blimey Paul you're mad to let it go for that price - losing out big time. It would sell real quick for much more than that.

I hope your wife's illness is not too serious.

Cheers Keith

Hi Keith

Needs must unfortunately, i just haven't the time to haggle/arrange loads of viewings whilst juggling work and visiting the hospital for at least the next month or so :(

Paul

matey I pm'd u re the price.

you cant let her go for that- no matter what the circumstances.. and no one on here should take advantage of your situation for gain.!

open it up to realistic offers..

remember- the price you stated is not binding and you can change your mind.. think on .. a dealer would snap it off you at that price even and still make a profit

Too cheap - drive it down to a dealer and sell it if you want rid of it that badly just dont take less than £2000. Or ebay it

Paul,

I know of someone who is looking to start biking and may be interested - they were asking after mine. Let me try him tomorrow and maybe get you a half decent offer?

Sorry to anyone who's PM'd you at that price but you should get a LOT more.

Cheers Keith

Hi guys

Only got a few mins so just posting on here, will PM everyone who has PM'd me later tonight when I get home.

Keith (Well Oiled), Quiff and all others thank you ever so much for all your help, advice and messages. I've been offered £1750 from a local dealer today who knows the bike and the other half so it's hopefully off there later this week.

Thank you all again. Will PM you all individually and apologies for anyone who may have missed out.

Speak soon, Paul

Wot he said. If your sale to the dealer doesn't work out, or there's anything else we can do, let us know.

Most importantly - hope your wife's illness isn't too serious. Give her a get well from us and let us know when she's better.

Cheers Keith

TBH those prices are very optimistic at this time of year. Paul could get much more than £1750 for it if he waited but he can't and it's a heck of a lot better than £1250. Mods are great but you never recover anything like the price of them unless you set the bike back to standard and sell separately.

I could have said something about the price Paul put up but wasn't sure if it was as low as it seemed.

I was wrong!!

Yeah but by knowing the book price it can help to work out a good value for it! Yes very true more money would be made putting the bike back to stock and then selling on after market parts seperatly.
