Well, my poor SV650S, been sitting in my garage since Feb this year :( Time for me to sort my ass and sell it.

Basically, is a Black SV650S 2002 bike with about 28-30k on the clocks.

Its had an engine change. Replaced with a K1 motor, and mileage is (to confirm) about 17-18k. I have the new engine's paperwork, old MOT's, checked history to varify the mileage. I have pictures of the engine swap process if potential buyer is interested. Engine was fitted with just under 13k on it.

The bike has had a lowside spill Dec last year. All costmetic though. Just top fairing panel, bar end etc. Nothing major (not even a pedal/lever). Had a car do a U turn in front and got tapped off at 15mph.

Reason for sale is that when I had the accident, I didn't have enough for the excess (last working day before Xmas), and as it wasn't my fault, I was dammed if i was going to pay anything out first. Im only just getting the insurance side sorted (and should have sold the bike months and months ago) so im looking to sell her as a working bike. I bought a brand new bike, and the poor SV has just sat in the garage since.

She still fires and rides absolutly fine. I regulary take her round the block just to keep everything ticking over.

It is SORN'd, and i'll double check the MOT tonight.

But as its winter, maybe someone wants a cheap hack, or a new Twins race bike?

Bike can be supplied as is (just fairing damage) or can wait until the replacement part eventually arrives.

Just sparking interest as its got some history, but all can be varified with paperwork. Highly considered turning it into a track bike myself, but just can't happen in the early foreseeable future.

I can provide pictures of the bike as it stands on request. I am in NWKent, but obviously as the bike is SORN, it'll need a van or something.

Im open to OFFERS on the bike. It is mechanically sound, just a little cosmetic damage, but I know it being SORN and having the engine change will put some people off.

Anyhoo, drop me a PM if your interested. Otherwise, i'll get the parts swapped when the insurance is sorted, and sell it as a perfectly fine working bike.

Oh, and i've also got lots of spare parts from the other engine.

Blocks, heads (minus cams), gearbox etc.. All junk in the garage so make me an offer on bits.

I cannot stand Halfords. I may make an entrance in the trading estate to get some food for my rabbits, but wouldn't buy ANY "performance" parts from Halfruads whatsoever......

Saying that, spent £60 on McQuires polishing stuff for my old mans birthday from there

ahh k, in that case it's a little too far for me to show any interest.

Cheers anyway,
