haha yes i dont believe us to be the best band ever, there are far too many talented people around (although not too many from recent years...)
but yeah just thought i'd see if any of the org crew like the stuff

i'd say his personal finances are none of your business...
:p
cheers wideboy, i too cant stand alot of todays tosh, but the local scene it towns and citys do have some good bands with some real music
oh and hovis dont get your hopes up, it aint heavy (its my brother)
not heavy in the slightest
i'd say his personal finances are none of your business...
:p

barclays aye? *takes note*
what about you account number?:smt024
oh and hovis dont get your hopes up, it aint heavy (its my brother)
not heavy in the slightest
too late i did get my hopes up.... i thought the ponytail was a heavy metal thing
you can imagine my disapointment
its not a heavy metal thing, it was a classic rock thing, now its just a thing.
i still love the old music, but i'm not in the scene anymore (if there ever was one for me considering the stuff i listen to is 30-40 years old)
i apologise most sincerely for this false-perception hovis (oh and i found you on facebook - strange number of people with hovis in their name too)
i think the title "The Greatest Band ever" is also a bit misleading
the intro sounds like some sort of cockney knees up song
but apart from that, its not to bad
was abit bored, and heard news of a little christmas cracker gig we're doing, so thought i'd see if any of these lovely fellows off the org like the stuff
i bet the guy in fancy dress is the singer (with his army kit on)
cowards never die...........good track
i bet the guy in fancy dress is the singer (with his army kit on)
ballad of the cowards ...........is my favorate
the keboards sound like the tunes built into some of the keyboards
yeah he spent 30 odd quid on that hat aswell!
i just stuck on a 4 pound shirt haha, hence i look like a scruff
i like the stuff though (well obviously) but it's good to sing along to and that
and i have to applaud chris (singer) for his songs and lyrics, good lines with coward inputs, bit of a gimmick
keys do the bugle, synth, honkytonk, they do a bellpad thing in living daylights
oh if you mean he doesnt play it, its all computerised then noo noo noo
our keys man is a grade 8 pianist and grade 8 keyboardist, parents own a music school, he's bloody good i have to say
when you record though things to get quantised and that (to make it sound perfectly in time and that) in shirley brown they quantised it slightly wrong, hence that wierd bit at the start on the honky tonk
ooooo i dont like that question
quite like the vocal harmonies in the light and livi day, love the honkytonk in shirley, and cant beat a bit of last post and military snare, then the horse gallop with war lyrics
i'd have to say shirley b for the party dancy atmosphere

on there should be this little instrumental we did, we had a spare 10mins in the studio

Jas...
ok i wasnt trying to stipulate about what is the best band
there is clearly no such thing anyway (far too many brilliant bands and musicians from a whole spectrum of different types)
just wanted to see what some of the people on here thought of my bands stuff
ooooo i dont like that question
quite like the vocal harmonies in the light and livi day, love the honkytonk in shirley, and cant beat a bit of last post and military snare, then the horse gallop with war lyrics
your wrong. its ballad of the cowards (its super)
listemed to it about 5 times now, been listening to all of them instead of my WMP files.
its growing on me, :smt045

Going by longevity and the ongoing ability to attract more people to come and see them play than any other band ever-----
The Rolling Stones.

Really not my kind of music, but very well played, recorded and produced. And lose that pony tail, I also thought you were a metaller! It's deceptive! Best band ever is hard to say, but metal will always rule supreme.
Oh you are playing at the Bristol Pear in Brum!? That is where my extreme metal night Reanimator is held :)

This guy is not far from the truth, I'm sure of it. Metallica are indeed bloody awesome, but peaked in about...1993 (if the live s***, binge and purge DVD is anyhting to go by, when compared to cunning stunts and stuff)

:laughat:Eric Clapton -this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCzUMjCykn8)is v funny :D
The Santana one made me laugh the most, though Steve Vai's is v funny
cant go far wrong with the beatles!
but yeah glad you're liking the stuff hovis!
warthog- the hair stays! (for now anyway) i am partial to abit of megadeth (NOT metallica) and various other bands. Obviously the classics like maiden. I just don't commit myself to that scene anymore, like to give everything a good go. oh and how do you run a night there being in oxford? or do you travel back for it?
drummer boy - ahhh so we have a couple on the org then, good stuff, we all know we're the essential mechanism behind any good band!
and mr zombie - you a geetarist? i like to have a little dabble now and again, could always go for a jam or something. what stuff you into? these days my electric sits back in wolves, i just learn some beatles and things like that on acoustic and sing along
thanks to all who listened and liked (or didnt like, at least you listened :D)
