TWO is pretty good, as is performance bikes (those two + bike + ride + MCN are all sister publications). Fast Bikes is rubbish; it's full of aging men talking about how the new gsxr is 0.001 seconds a lap faster than the last and has loads of unecessary police bashing.

I'd go for Bike too. I've been buying it every month since 1994, but have just stopped due to the recent price increases.

Thats the problem with subscriptions, they can fill them with any old tosh as they already have your money.

At least if you can look at the others on the newsagent shelf you can see if there is something interesting in the others. If not you can reach up and grab a copy of Gardeners Wives or something

Superbike is my current read. Nice mag. Nice pics. Not overly 'my wheelie is bigger than yours' either...

Bike is probably my fave but Ride is a good read most months. TWO was pretty good but the format's changed recently and I can't quite take to it. LOTS OF UNECESSARY CAPITAL LETTERS WHEN IT'S QUITE OBVIOUS THAT lower case would be fine.

It's not an EMAP publication but I quite like Performace Bike too, not that easy to find though.

Two is cr*p,

Bike and Ride are on par, and fastbikes is quite amusing

Bike is well written and very well produced.

+1 for Bike. IMO the most professional, best presented, all-round, sensible bike mag. Right bang in the middle of the spectrum between specialist nerdiness at one end and big pictures, lots of exclamations marks superbike mags at the other end.

Not all those are Emap.I think TWO and Superbike are owned by someone else.
How about Classic Racer?
If you are into TZ Yams and Rob North Triumphs.:D

I get Bike most of the time, Ride sometimes.

How about ClassicBike? Or get something not bike related like Car, Improve Your Coarse Fishing, or Digital Photo...
