They are very bright and catch your attention more than their size suggests, the downsides are that they're only about half the weight of the stock bar ends, and the price, £70 a pair, don't be dropping your bike any time soon:rolleyes:

they did look smart, and bright too.
Ive got the flush indicators on the fairing but they let water in. Im gonna have to see if i can get them apart to remove the rusty watermark inside the lens

What difference does the weight of the bar ends make?

more weight = less vibration
They were at the show last year aswell.
The Germans have been fitting them to their streetfighters for years.

What he said.
Hein Gericke have loads in the current catalogue.

I junked the heavy bar ends on my SV because it doesn't vibrate without them. I have tiny little plastic plugs in there now.

Not necessarily. It is true in some instances that fitting heavier barends can counter vibration felt through the bars.
On my last bandit once I fitted aftermarket bars, I had vibrations that made my fingers go numb. I fitted heavy weight barends which got rid of the vibrations. However, my SV, arguably a bike which vibrates considerably more, does not have any barends fitted at all and it's fine.
Back on topic, I really do fancy some of them, but at that cost I would just so be tempting fate if I fitted them.

interesting, the vibes on the SV don't bother me except for when cruising at around 5krpm there's definitely a numbness that forms, my DRZ on the other hand has no barends (handguards fitted) and doesn't vibrate a bit, despite being a proper thumper

Yeah they would- you want the bar end to go outside your muffs (put holes through the muff for the bar ends to go through). It helps hold the muff in place and stops it fouling the levers. ;)
As others have said, they look nice, but nothing new, they've been around for years.
