Me and Tsm went today, really enjoyed it! got a new textile jacket, a paddock style jacket for everyday use and Ric got a new back protector, had a good chat with my insurance co (carole nash) while i was there and got some good info off them re my accident etc

Thoughts on bikes:

Love the 675 (i always have! LOl) and the gxsr 750
Hate the new sv, feels so big and clumsy!!
Hated the 250 ninja-pity as i was considering it for next year :shaking:
Hated the 848-no padding on seat and you just kept sliding into the tank!!
1098-yyuuummmmmmyyy, tiny tiny mirrors though!!

Ric loved the speed triple!!

I went today aswell wasn't as busy as i thought it would be. Loved the Blue 675 and that white gsxr750 is lush. I know what you mean about the seats on the 848 but i'd still have one . Wish i could have sat on the Duke Desmo, what a bike =P~... My pics to follow, whoop..

Surely an 848 is just a smaller engined 1098, so the seat and seating position should be the same, in much the same way as the 749/999 and 748/916 before it.

I thought the 1098 with the foam non-slip seat was much comfier than the 848 seat but the 1098 with the regular seat was just as bad as the 848.

I did with the regular seats, felt really uncomfortable, they should have designed a recess in the tank or had the foam seat as standard.

Didn't look like that to me. Was going to post something along the lines of...

You don't need to check if they look OK, just ask every other bloke walking past.
