I made a cracker out of wood and an old pram as a kid of about 12, it even had suspension. We ended up finding steeper and steeper and longer and longer hills to run it down, often involving it being towed fair distances behind a bicycle on sunday mornings where we would "close" a section of road.

Eventually I wrapped it, well disintegrated it, around a tree after leaving the road on a wet corner, crappy pram wheel tyres. I got flung clear and somehow walked away with only a few cuts and bruises. The joys of being young and bouncy.

We used to sit in bread crates and 'sled' down the steps of the guildhall... How we're stiil in one piece is beyond me!!

I'd probably try and get my pilots license if motorbikes hadn't been invented. I've always wanted to be a helicopter pilot... :D
