I can't be the only one who thinks it's great :cyclopsani:
Its great, at the Christmas fair in Essen Germany.
I always get some in for this time of year.
Otherwise I make my own, its very easy.

fruit or not fruit in the glass?
Love it
heat it up with the fruit in the pan then serve on its own yum yum
fruit leaves less space for booze.

Oranges, cloves, apple, cinammon, red wine, port and a bit of brandy/whisky I reckon :)
It was great thing to drink in Prague when out in the markets, warmed the bones.

Love it. We often drink it in winter. It's lovely when you've just got home on the bike and are freezing cold. The fruit is optional, though we usually put a bit in. Mulled cider is great too.
Some pubs even do mulled wine in winter.

You can buy bottles of ready mulled wine in Tesco, that you just need to heat up.
Mulled wine is just hot red wine with spices (usually cinnamon and cloves) added. You can also put in fruit, brandy and sugar.

If you google for 'mulled wine', you'll find a lot of recipes, like this one:

We don't use a recipe, we just bung everything in the pan and heat it. Don't let it get too hot or the alcohol will evaporate. I usually keep the lid on the pan so that the alcohol can't escape.
It's great with mince pies.

you've got to make it, the bought stuff just isn't the same. Don't heat it up too much though, the alcohol all evaporates!

I guess a temp below 70 deg.C...the alcohol evaporates out at prob 80 deg.C? I'll shut up now, since there is a huge discussion imminent about mixed solvents and boiling points
