A mate of mine has too much spare time on his hands and so he has managed to get a Firblade engine in a 30 year old Fiat 126 :D

The fiat only normaly has a 500cc twin engine about 30hp.

He took it for a spin around the block the other night and I don't think he has stopped laughing yet !!

It is so funny when he gets in and starts it as you expect a sewing machine noise ...but you get a Tuned Blade engine with full race pipe sound !!!

He sounds mental, the world needs people like him.

Many years ago there was a Fiat 126 that used to turn up for Run What Ya Brungs at Santa Pod, it had a flat 6 Porsche motor fitted.

When I was a kid living in South Africar there was a guy regulary came to the local drag strip in a Fiat 500 with a V8 inside the car with him. He was squashed up on one side as the engine took up most of the space.

i think i would sh*t myself if i was on a bike and that came past, also imagine if he couldnt slow down enough for a bend straight down the cliff face i think.

my dad has got a fiat chinkichenco and i told him to put a blade or busa engine in that for a project but more so the fun

You get get kits to fit engines in a mini. Even twin engines in a mini. The Suzuki Smart car comes to mind as well.

However a fiat 126 with a blade engine sounds linke lots of scary fun. What a sleeper.

That looks fun, would also be great for embarrasing the boy racers :D
Can see the stability at speed being quite deadly though.

Also read some of the comments, proof that most yanks have less sense of humour than the stereotypical german, can't seem to get their head round the idea that these cars arent built to do much of anything (except maybe hillclimbs :D) and are just projects for the sake of it.

Also see the rather mental hillman imp here:

I wanna build me one of those :D
