Seeing as winter is virtually upon us I thought this months comp should be about winter. So lets see your winter images, it could include snow, ice , people enjoying the winter,so winter sports, anything to do with the winter. Plus I have a prize for the winner, a £20 voucher for m&p, so get shooting.
Thanks again
Stew

Dead Line is :-
12 o'clock Noon on Boxing day, the 26th December, then a 5 day poll to decide the winner.
Then the Winner can post the new subject on New Years day.
Subject to hangover that is.

It was a choice between frozen drops on a cobweb or this and seeing as neither are great i opted for the fun pic. Taken with Pentax K100D and FA 50mm 1.4 lens at iso 1600

Read the rules... (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=94370)

Few simple rules...

One entry per person per month
The winner of the competition will suggest the subject for the following month.
The winner cannot enter the following month, but they should provide a photo in the opening post to set the standard if they want to.
"Photoshoped" images: ALL images in the scene have to be your own work, putting a decent picture onto a background that you didn't take isn't exactly fair.
If you do photoshop the picture please mention it when you post it. Not that there is anything wrong with editing them, it just will allow people to make their on decisions about voting. You can't change it... one entry per person per month..

sorry ....

Why change it, It's a cracking picture..

D'oh! Oh well i guess it'll have to be that then :)
Yes it is a decent picture but i had a few ideas up my sleeve for the coming month to get me out and shooting rather than use a library image.
Thanks for pointing out the rules though, i've never been one for reading through rules :p

Not sure if this is really eligible, as it was taken in June this year..............but believe me, at 3,000 metres up it was DEFINITELY winter:D

No, it's the top of the Grossglockner in Austria, taken from the window of the place we were staying in.

Oh, forget to say which camera. Casio Exilim EX-Z75.

I reckon it's because it's not very 'wintery' yet. There's some fantastic icicles at work, but we're not allowed cameras :( Should snow on Friday though, I think we'll have a spate of pictures
