I have a 2006 SV650S. These days I am thinking :) about buying OEM lower fairings and putting those on. Could anyone share his experience about OEM lower fairings on '06.
Thanks,

It's all a matter of taste really - IMO the pointy SV doesn't look as good without them, so I fitted some (well, the dealer did before I bought it). Curvies seem to suit a bellypan more than full lowers, I reckon anyway.
I've removed & re-fitted them a couple of times too and it was easy enough, if that's what you're getting at?
The only downside I can think of is they're one more bit to repair / replace if you bin it.
Have a look through the photo section, plenty of pics in there of pointies with / without fairings & bellypans to help you make your mind up.

Hi
K3+ models of SV's look very sexy with OEM lower fairing,
(giving the SV a more sportier, streamline look)
Here in Canada the "S" K8 models only come with full failings and seat cowl factory from the dealers, - the spoiler.

p.s. El Saxo? do you get lots of scratches on the lowers ? (stone chips ..etc)
I like the lowers, here's mine.

Furry Ginger One - sharp looking SV mate!
Is the rear hugger an OEM Suzuki part or after-market?
