View Full Version : do we have an SV650.org psychologist?
I should imagine I'm in a minority, that tends to be my forte but is this site getting a bit overly sensitive?
Perhaps I should know better living in an age with teenagers in the family that cry depression and in need of psycho help because they got a splinter in their finger. This site seems to be going the same way.
I don't get it? Perhaps I'm just insensitive (no heard that one before). :)

What are you trying to say????? :( I got a huge wanger and I ride better than anyone!! frfffffffssssssspppppp!!
The problem is people think of forums as a courtroom and not a gang of folks having a chat in a social setting, if you read comments in that way, they don't seem half so acerbic. After all, if I said to my mate at work I fell off he'd call me a daft pwick, if you said that to someone here, you'd get lynched!!
Just stay cool everyone :)
I think its because its winter, alot of us are shut in/cant ride the bike etc so tempers are slightly frayed.
Mcn ninjas is same at the mo.

Am i being insensitive to not have noticed people being really sensitive?
Paws you are probably right about the change of season etc, but if we all pull together and keep each other ocupied till spring the time will go quicker! (in a perfect world)
Even as just a mere pillion i am missing going out on the bike.
Im taking a counselling course if anyone feels they want to talk!!

Yeh i've noticed this, i agree though its got to be the weather. All these frustrated riders trapped in this site because the suns in hiding. Let us out arrrgggggg.. :smt030
I'm fine, but I'm about as sensitive as a house brick most of the time.
And we're still getting out and about on the bike, so that's keeping me sane:D

Cold in Leeds over the weekend but dry. I'll be out and about.
As for being frustrated when I cant get out on my bike, well I'm gonna buy a PS2 and kill some virtual baddies :)

Rubbish weather + running up to shortest day + stress of christmas = grumpy forum users.
Its always the same at this time of year with everybody climbing the walls. I don't actually think its that bad at the moment, its definately been worse.
If you post stuff on an open forum you have to expect that some people arent going to agree with you and that they are going to give you whether you want it or not their opinion. If don't like it don't post.

It has often been suggested that I might benefit from psychiatric help but never more than presently.
I am dealing with a particular situation that I would not wish on anyone. It is not relationship related or family but in truth pretty damn crucial. Additionally it has dragged on now for several months and this week is crunch time. Frustratingly the finalisation is due to take place in the far east and gaining contact with my man on the ground is nigh impossible. No it is not drug related either!
Just maybe I might be able to elaborate around this time next week......but then again maybe not.
I do though hope I have not been coming across as a pain in the ass recently,( or rather more than usual) If I have my apologies people.

You are very sweet. Joking apart this is a real serious issue going on. Hopefully I can lay out the tale next week with a smile on my face. But until a couple of things happen, I cant yet believe it is finally sorted.

you don't have to explain anything to any of us. On-going issues that cause you stress are not very nice ( i know) and can get you down so take refuge in the mad house (the org!) no doubt there are a few crazy monkeys in here that could at least take your mind of things for a while.

Now this I couldn't agree with more.
Problem is peeps don't switch off they get sucked in and get right wound up. Perhaps its because I'm an insensitive old grumpy git - but I find it hilarious. :p
Perhaps its me that needs help!:santa::smt110

No one has to explain anything as far as I'm concerned and for the record my comments aren't aimed at anyone in particular. Hadn't noticed owt Ped but good luck anyway.
Damn, just revealed a sensitive side = reputation in ruins!!
I think the miserable weather is to blame.

Ha ha...was just thinking something along those lines earlier.
Yep, seems like the site is carrying more than it's fair share of leather wearing pansys :p

Yes, we are rather sensitive and grumpy, me included. Its the time of the year for general tiredness isn't it? Long time since the summer holidays, loads of folk really busy at work with Christmas / short working month related stuff (67.5 hours for me last week). Tiredness is guaranteed to put me in a foul mood, should go to bed then really shouldn't I

We've got one up here but she'd be quite expensive to post to Spain :)
Good luck with it Pedrosa!
