My lovely VTR1000 Firestorm is up for sale. The reason? I've bought a ZZR1100 to ride instead. Its more my type of bike now.
1998 R reg,
19k miles (or thereabouts!),
Repsol paint job,
Twin Scorpion cans, (also have the originals)
Solid black double bubble screen, (also clear original)
Front tyre 80%, rear 75%,
Currently on a SORN with no MOT but I will put a new MOT and 6 months tax on it for whoever buys it.
Viewing welcome, but no test rides unless you stump up the full asking price, in cash, before you take it. You'll need to bring your insurance docs too.
Please, no test pilots looking for a quick thrash on someone elses bike. If you want to do that go to a bike shop.
Its a very nice example of a great bike. Those on here that have seen it will vouch for it ( I hope!!). Its been regularly serviced and very well maintained by me in the two years I've had it and it has never let me down. I've ridden it to Le Mans twice and it didn't miss a beat. In fact, it was one of the most reliable bikes last year, one guy blew his head gasket and another lost all his oil, but the 'Storm just kept going.
Oh yeah, nearly forgot to put the price on!!
£2200 ovno. I'm open to sensible offers but don't take the p*ss.
