How about if you have owned a CBR and now own an SV (Mr Lou!)

but did you know that the CBR600F has been discontinued? He's been trying to get one again, and they are no more. He wrote off his last one, had only had it 11 months :(

You could buy my Firestorm Kate. I know its not a CBR but you don't want to associate with them. They're hooligans! Phil's seen my VTR - he'll tell you how good it is!!!:D:D:D

I had a Firestorm for 18 months from new, I sold it and went back to a ZZR1100.

Shame you can only ride it to the next petrol station before having to refuel!

Tis nice though!

You might be able to pick one up new still, I think they only stopped it within the last 12 months or so...but didn't they also go all budget in the last year or 2 of it's life? They took away the adjustable suspension for a start!

I might just have to get "Smouldering Penknife" decals cut by the signmakers down the road for when I put race bodywork on the CBR.

IIRC the insurance group for a 'Storm is 14 or 15. It cost me £118.00 TPF+T, but I am 37 with 9+ years NCB and a clean licence.

By contrast the ZZR1100 d7 I've just bought cost me £158 Fully Comp.

I had one of those too.

That bike was so forgiving. I put it to the test way too often. It used to get in some shapes that nowadays would be deemed impossible.

I had two CBRs, a 600FK and a 600FM, both cracking bikes but then got the SV about 14 years later. I'll make do with my Gixer thou (K6) and MT-03 for now, I might even learn to ride em.

Not interested about joining any group though.
