Fairings color. thought black might look good with the blue. just a quick photoshop. Wish it could have the full effect of the fairings but this gives me an idea

I don’t think the bottom line of the pointy fairing is particularly appealing, and if the panel is complete black or white it’ll look like a replacement that hasn’t been painted andhighlight that line, if it's any other colour apart from Blue, it'll look like a secondhand spare.

It’s possible to “fool the eye” and change the shape of panels with just paint, but you do need to think about it and be sympathetic to the general shape of the bike.

as an Idea, here's my old one, note the eye is drawn to the paint lines rather than the fairing shape.

or here where the lowers were given a "bellypan" effect.

If I was you, I'd move the cat.

I don't really like it tbh, I think silver could work better but the black as Rictus says just looks unpainted. If you could combine the blue and black on one panel, it'd be much better I think and more obviously intended.

Well the picture is only a photoshop. The black would be glossy just like the bike. I only had this idea because i love the look of the black sv's. Too bad 07 only came in 2 colors. Maybe if i get a 2 tone upper and lower fairings? have the blue turn into black toward the bottom? IDK

Fairings color. thought black might look good with the blue.

You mean blue bikini fairing and black lowers? Then no, that wouldnt look good at all.

If you got your top fairing sprayed to exactly match the black lowers and just had the back end of the bike blue then yes, that would look good i reckon.

seems like alot of work to tear the front off, is it? i could probably get a good deal for a paint job.

I think NO! But if you can "fade" the blue over to black (or opposite), it would look nice :)

Looks like you've got some cheap panels and not bothered painting them!

Fade it in or something similar to make it look deliberate.

Mark, that curvy looks great

You all do know those are not panels on my bike right? The picture was photoshopped to give me an idea what it would look like. The best the guy could do for me was the picture i posted. Like i said before the fairing would probably come from suzuki. My thing is if the black woulda looked nice i would have bought the non painted fairings and painted it so i would have a glossy look of course. It would have a belly pan yatta yatta. I wish i could photshop it myself and make it look like it would in person, but am not that computer illiterate lol
