I'm getting new tyres for my SV soon (pilot road 2's hopefully! :D ). The shop here in town will mount and ballance the tyres if I bring them the wheels. My question is: is there anything I should be mindful of when putting the rear wheel back on the bike in regards to adjusting the chain and making sure the wheel isn't cockeyed?

No, don't touch the adjusters. Just pull the spindle out, then the wheel can be pushed forward and the chain lifted off. Put it back again the same way (but in reverse, doh!) ;-)

Make sure you note exactly how the spacers fit,and take great care with the front when putting the speedo drive back. They break really easily.

This is the best way to do it, I slide the spindle back on the wheel less bike with the spacers in there correct order.

Given your previous post on your current wheel alignment, I'd make sure that is corrected first, but once that's done then the above is applicable.

Cheers Mark.
