Well, you don't have to come. Why are you the only one that complains about going to the Ferry? I ride / travel to the TA ( close on a 70 mile round trip) so I'm sure doing a few miles into England isn't going to hurt you. We could always change the meet to one of the pubs along the Wye Valley if you like. Its just quite nice at the Ferry and everyone else likes it. Plus the owners are biker friendly.



I'm hoping to be there but it all depends on whether I've finished looking at potential jobs in time. Got a few to look at tomorrow evening - the last one being near Monmouth.

I just got a fully comp quote for the cat and I have had to double check I put everything in properly. I put it down to start the Friday of my test 0 no claims bike, obviously and 0 no claims car as I need to confirm how many years I have (I think 7). I put in that I would pay £500 excess to get a cheaper quote and the results are as follows:-

AQuote, fully comp, £200 excess, full legal cover = £211

TP, F&T = £163

TP Only = £146

What do you think about that???

My bike threw a bit of a strop on the way back. Thanks all for stopping, and Stretchie & cheryl for tailing me home. So it's down the Kwak garage tomorrow see if they can find anything wrong. Within the couple of days i've got left on the warranty. :rolleyes: The timing is uncanny, you'd think it was deliberate planning.

I had my FI light flash red on me on the M4 :o went to pull over, dropped a gear to start slowing down, and the light went out... stopped up by a McDonalds further up to check oil levels etc.. had comments off Gemma about me and burgers, and stopping... :p oil level was fine.. just think the bike disliked being in 6th gear at low revs with pillion aboard....

See that’s the start of your problems VB!! , mine has done that a couple of times in 6th at around 70MPH, I agree it don’t like low speeds in 6th.
