right so i reboot me laptop and put the latest version of firefox on it, now the last one had a spell check so i looked intellegent when i did posts:joker:.

now spell check wont work on the new one, i go to options, its says spell check is on and language is set to english uk. can anyone tell me why its still not woking as i've already made a complete t!t of myself in one thread:flower:

Check Firefox has a dictionary installed.

Tools>Add-ons

If it doesn't, look in the get extensions link in the bottom right hand corner of the add-ons window.


Oh yeah, and since I'm the first one here...... only on one thread???!!? ;)

came up with about a zillian dictionarys, any specific one?

Now did you mean Mullet-sillyable? or multisyllable? perhaps even multisyllabic? or polysyllable? :confused: :D

EDIT: that is a minor annoyance of Firefox upgrades ... having to re-install the dictionary!

A useful snippet this. Wondered why my work firefox has a dictionary and this one (home) does not!

Ha! The Firefox spell checker does not know the word firefox! lol
