Does any one know where I can order a digi-key CH417-ND or equivelant solid state, gear tooth, hall effect sensor in the UK?
The amount's they wanna charge for something so small in the states is rediculous, $60 Dollars for the Digi-key and $10 for the magnets and hloders but with a 6-8 week wait!
Please help me get my bike back on the road!

I was looking for one the other day, I think I found one for £30 or so.

I think I came to the conclusion that I can't find one in the UK.
I've got a hall effect sensor though, just packaged as a chip, was going to be part of another project, I may well experiment with packing this in silicon as it was only about a fiver.

blag your head with that for a while, I'm not sure what sort of feed the SV sensor picks up on.
Anybody else know?

I've e-mailed a company who make similar sensors to try and get one that'll do the same job, and I'm awaiting a reply.
Gonna keep searching cuz I'm a cheap skate and don't wanna pay the shipping costs.
Does it matter too much what sensor I get?

Veypor's wiring loom contains a titchy one... I've used it with the curvy but I think it gave Stu problems on the pointy. Not sure why.

Are there any tech heads on here who would be able to help finding out what equivalent part I'll need from the UK and where to get it?
