View Full Version : Help with fitting gsxr1000 k5 race fairings to a K4 SVS

has any 1 here tryed 2 put the gsxr1000 k5 front/top fairings and sides/belly pan on 2 the 03 onwards sv650?if so are they hard 2 put on and can you use all ur standard fairings bracket etc...

and over all what do they fit/look like when on?any big spaces or bad looking bits?

Yup, lots of people do it mate. I think its the K5 GSXR race fairings that have the best fit, Including the rear fairings too.

There are some pictures floating about somewhere, I'll have a look around.

They look pretty good and fit the frame well. And I dont think that there is too much work needed to fit them.

I take it you are racing nect year in the "BCL Watches Minitwins?" :cool:

thanks for the link and info m8 i think il probley try an get my self a set of k5 fairings then.

i wasnt really sure if they went on that well cos a load of people who is useing the gixer fairings use the k1 to k4 stuff no the fairing with the big screen.but them k5 fairings in them pics look really well.

sv650k4, have you heard of Steve Jordan Motorcycles? They race / raced suzuki SV650's so have alot of knowledge; use google to find their website for contact information. They are based not too far from Boxhill in surrey
