Stuck this in here to get some more attention for it for others that aren't doing anything on Sunday and may fancy a meet or hook up that are close to the area. Happy if mods move it to Rideout section...
We'll meet there at about 11 o'clock. Be sh1ts and giggles methinks, quite a few goin from the Border Patrol by the looks of it (and the odd maybe) and the weather doesn't look too bad on the bright side of things. Gotta give Pedro his pressie, which i am not letting on what it is :p
For those who don't know where it is, it is here (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=TF9+3QD&ie=UTF8&ll=52.883039,-2.531877&spn=0.010721,0.028925&z=15&iwloc=addr&om=1). And if like me, you search round like a tart for a petrol station cos you think you wont be able to make it after you leave the Stormy like i did, have no fear the petrol station is near (next door) ho ho ho.
Be good to see some peeps before xmas, and some new faces, dont be shy, we dont bite. Anyone wants to hook up with Mr Slow (me that is :)) coming from South or Easterly way let me know (PM) and we'll sort out something and i'll guide ya in.
Those who can make it, rest assured Pedro will try to abolish you at pool, EITHER HANDED
So yer 11 o'clock at the Stormy. Be there or be a pointy :-P
It's getting warmer over the weekend so I might come out of hibernation...
Hmm, maybe, its 3 hours from my grotto to wherever this is according to the AA. Supposed to be picking up my dads vfr but he can do that :)
Is a n00b welcome? Be nice to have a long ride.
PM on your way plowsie.

Also forgot to mention, if the pub doesnt open till 12 then there is a burger van etc so we can gather round that and hold coffee etc till we get indside. Spose peeps will turn up a 12 now though lol.
Is anyone coming down from the warrington area ? was going to shoot down the A49 and join the A41 at whitchurch if anyone fancies meeting up with me ?

Not sure yet hun... gonna travel with Pedro and we`re not sure if its bikes or car. If its bikes we could maybe meet up somewhere. Even if its cars you`re welcome to come here and meet us and drive down together in one car
Well if you are going by bike I assume you will be going via the birkenhead tunnel, I could meet up with you both near the M56/A41 split.
Weather permitting, looks like a goer:D
I'll be in Liverpool at the week end, so I may be able to make this. In the car though and just for a couple of hours.

It's at the opposite end of Queens Drive to both of us really ... but if you fancy meeting up ... then best bet might be the retail park not far from the Birkenhead Tunnel (Birkenhead side) ... There's a McDonalds there so I guess we could meet you there (Claire is that ok with you?)
Your other option would be to head up onto Queens Drive and take the M62, and you could probably take the Runcorn Bridge and meet up or follow Stewie?
The choice is yours ...

Looks like there's going to be fog all the way between my house and plowsie's.. yay.. :(
Probably too late to make any definite plans to meet anyone en route. I had a change of plans so I'm not in Liverpool yet. So I shall be travelling over from Leeds then over to Liverpool afterwards.
Plowsie, I hope your directions are up to scratch. If I get lost it's your fault.. Stewie, I've got you number. If I get lost, I'll ring you.

nice to meet everyone again and thanks to the stormy for that great free meal, how can they afford to stay open giving sunday lunch away? 100% to pete and lissa with the rudolf bike with flashing red nose lol :)
Right guys, had a text from Lissa as she was concerned i was not there. All is ok simple explanation really. I did not plan ahead enough. Trying to set off from Chippenham at 9.40 to get there and have time before getting back does not work well. Combine that with freezing fog and cold hand due to crap gloves meant i fannied out at Cheltenham. I could tell i was not going to make it in time nor be able to stay more than half hour if i got there. So i turned back and headed to the in laws for a warm up and brew before heading home.
I am really sorry i did not make it guys i did not have any numbers to get in contact, as i did not know Lissa was going.
Lesson learnt, leave in plenty of time and buy better gloves.
I got back and spent 2 hours cleaning the bike as it was caked but the ACF-50 worked a treat its gleaming again :).
oh and i was naughty i gave her some beenz on a few long straights. the out come: well at about 10K RPM its like a turbo if you open her right up i actually thought i was going to come off the back of the bike. and got to about 110 in 3rd before the road ran out LOL .
I am so miffed I didn't get there. After going round and round in circles and ending up in Newcastle, I decided to call it quits.
Was really looking forward to seeing you all.
I was well prepared too.
Breath spray and mistletoe. :smt045
What a great day:D
Lovely to see Mike, Plowsie, Pedro, Stewie, James and Kwak again, and to meet Sean, Claire, Shelley, Ed and his mate Carl.
The free Sunday lunch was a real bonus and the open fires and the warmth of the place was lovely.
Had a good ride home, apart from a real section of freezing pea-souper around Hinckley..............couldn't see jack!
Good to hear that Neio was ok too, but a shame neither he or Melody made it. They were missed.

Nice to meet you all, had a great time :)
Was glad to get in a hot bath though, 6 hours on a bike in freezing weather and fog is a bit more than I'm used to!
Thanks plowsie for meeting me and leading there :)
See you all again, when its a bit warmer... ;)
