You'll soon learn that the curvy/pointy debate NEVER ends on here, along with the blue/silver/yellow/red/black/ginger is fastest debate.:D

The best sv is the blue pointy with the newly installed GSX-R front end. Yup, you guessed it, mine!

Pffft.
Pointies. (I'll give phil the credit of having a very bling front end though, even if it is stuck to some pointy thing. .. with soft fairings on it :-P)

Welcome to the site

Croeso! Find your way to the Border Patrol, in fact there is a meet on Sunday at the Stormy Petral, just a bimble down the A49 for you. Two or three are going down from your neck of the woods.

They're all wrong. The best SV is a green one with a 900cc IL4 motor and Kawasaki on the tank.

HTH

Not my one obviously as it doesn't work quite right, but one very similar to mine.

Just a working one...

By the way: Welcome.

If anyone tells you I'm a deviant they're lying...

It's pretty much a matter of opinion and budget really. Use the search function for "exhaust" and you'll come up with a million pages of the stuff...

Personally? Freeflow Systems, Fuel, Carbon Can Company all do approx. £100 exhausts with removable baffles that sound nice. One of the best things you can do is get to a local SV meet and hear stuff in the flesh before you make a decision. Most bikers will happily fire it up and give you a listen, as we're a vain bunch...

Oh, when you cut the original off, fire it up and have a listen with no can at all...

morillo
26-12-07, 01:26 PM
oh yes and when do they meet up??

stewie
26-12-07, 02:14 PM
Well in theory we meet up every weds evening at either 'the bridge' in Llangollen, 'the tap' in eastham ferry, over by ellesmere port or 'the stormey petrel' in tern hill near market drayton, however due to the weather and time of year etc its a little quiet at the moment, have a look in the border patrol section and you will see when something is happening, the border patrol covers N Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside, Stafforshire and Shropshire so we cover a large area. Once the weather picks up we,ll be out more :riding:

I been down to Church Stretton today. It was a good ride, Mrs was following in the car. Well sort of following. Heavy overnight rain had cleared the crap off the roads and the bike was on song:smt026
