i like the way the torque kicks the car to the side, last time i saw that was on a 69 Lincoln continental, they are mahoosive, engine aswell

Did anyone see the related pieces, where someone fitted a meteor engine (27 litre V12) into a defenceless SD1?

The videos aren't really worth watching (20s each), but the page at "practical" performance car mag (linky (http://www.ppcmag.co.uk/projectcardetail.asp?id=4)) is interesting.

More torque at idle (400rpm) than the V8 produced at the redline...

Be warned, I ended up subscribing to (Im)Practical Performance Car as a result. It's like Streetfighters for 4 wheels, great magazine. Not very Practical though, as well as the SD1 there's a Rolls Royce turbocharged track day car, any number of daft wee hot hatches with daft big engines in, a V* Ford Transit Supervan...

i was a trike fitted with a ww2 tank engine, and when the williams team fitted a F1 engine into a renualt espace << spelling
