TFT monitors

Anyone else suffering the same fate as me?

I recently moved into the 21st century by purchasing a 17" TFT monitor for this computer thing. Now when I had an old 19" CRT monitor my desk was a fairly tidy affair, mainly because there wasn't any room left either side of the monitor to put anything more than a mug and a biro. Since I got the TFT I can now move around the office without bumping into it, and the desk is so full of crap that shouldn't be there, purely because the monitor is so much smaller.

It's true, mess expands to fill the available space. Including, in my case, the floor. My desk is a disaster area...

at liest you have a desk i just have an ocean of disks and papers and junk, with a keyboard on top, i think there was a desk here once

At work I have three pc's two tft screens but also have a clear desk policy so clutter doesn't build up.

At home I still have 19 inch big square box. :sad:

You're welcome to the old 19" CRT if you can collect it. At the moment it's cluttering up a corner of my bedroom and I keep stubbing a toe on it when I go for a pee in the night.
