I had to work last night and went out on the road to collect a couple of trailers, when I arrived back on site the security guard stopped me and said
'bloody ell mate ! I had to do a double take there, I though it was johnny vegas driving' bloody mince pies ;) so who else is hitting the diet trail then ?

Not me, I checked my weight yesterday 10 stone 2, or 65kg, may try to get exact 10 stone though....Probally shouldn't lose anymore! I weight now what I did when I was 18.

Yup, diet for me too, I'm hitting 16 1/2 stone since christmas. I've decided I don't need a faster bike, just a smaller stomach. If I can get down to 13 1/2 before next xmas I'll be happy (I say that every year, but this year I've gotta do it!).

How much extra performance do you think a three stone weight loss will give an SV?

I have no idea, but I think being short and light have to make a difference!

Been hitting the gym at work heavy for the last four weeks-difference already is unreal-i now fit into my new uniform that i got last year( it was to tight),i'm lifting the heaviest weights on all the machines and have almost got the cardio levels at there top setting. Its coming at a price though-no chocolate, biscuits, carbs after 8pm,no fizzy drinks, all junk food has been cut out-i'm living on a high protein diet, and training 5 days a week and going into work 2hrs early everyday-bit of a bumber when you start at 7am-gonna be worth it though-if your struggling stick a fat pic of you that you hate on the fridge.

I went for a weekend in Ireland, beginning of November, I weighed 14 st. Lost a stone, and even with Christmas, haven't been able to get back over the 13 st mark :(
I guess I'm alone, wanting to be heavier?!

From my *cough* research, it seems if you drink far far too much for 5 days solid, you lose weight you can't put back on. Good news folks :)

nope no dieting here. Stuffed myself like the christmas turkey at my parents house yesterday. I can now safely say that after a good nights sleep and giving Im Indoors a dutch oven, my weight remains the same. I am at one with myself and think myself into staying how I want to be. I shall be keeping to the 'see food and eat it' diet

I'm 6 ' & 15 stones , normally weigh between 14 and a half & 15
Its not what I eat its a lack of exercise , the job I do means I don't move much (work in IT)
A couple of years ago trained for a half marathon , just by running 3-4 times a week went down to 12 and a half stone in about 8 weeks , however as soon as I stopped running back to 14 and half .
trouble is I don't enjoy exercise

Good luck on your dieting

Cheers Steve

Its LOB really it is, I mostly muscle, that chart doesn't take into account as muscle weights more than fat, so u can be a really low %body fat but be over weight, yer that makes sesne.

End of the day eat what u want, drink loads of water, eat in modortaion and work out, the key is if with execrise, find something u like doing...I really don't want to drop dead like a colleuge at work did yesterday casue I didn't look after myself.

If you smoke, why ur mad!! U really are, sorry but thats gonna effect you, I know for fact I have the edge over any smoker. Same with beer, too much it gonna hurt you. Up to you, but my only vice, is enjoying a beer.

Good luck if wanna lose weight, the only to make it work is to make part of your life. I did weight nearly 11 1/2 stone a few years back, now I have lost it all, but you have to work at it to make it work.

Yes please but only if it's double cream.

Seriously though, I will be thinning out my eating habits and be on the push bike most days. I still miss my running but have come to the realisation I will never be able to do that again.

Thats what I'll be doing to. I don't really think of it as a diet more as eating healthily.
