Hi all

had a new set of rubber for xmas from wifey and kids. After ringing round settled on pair of conti road attack which were fitted at my home by Chris Sidwell (mobile mechanic) for an incredible price of £174 all in. That's a, he turns up, rolls your bike into his trailer and an hour or so later rolls it out again on new rubber price. All at a time convenient to you, how very civilised !

Never used Chris before but would recommend him highly and so contact numbers are 01455 273944, or mobile 07947 244780.

Tyres are great, back to feeling like there's grip again underneath me and I'm well chuffed. No traffic on road today and 26 miles in 30 minutes including a bit of town work. Woooo hoooooo.

Oooo... I'm gonna need some tyres changing soon so might give him a try.
(Have the tyres, but no way of putting them on)

Just had them fitted and balanced - £48
£15 per tyre
£18 travel costs (from Stoney Stanton way)
Not bad me thinks, and he seems a decent chap too.
Also does other stuff, so very handy to know!

Look in the sticky thread at the top of the MIGTS page - 'Recommended by the MIGTS'

Stewart will give you a good deal, coffee and lots of chat.

Aye, Stewart's done 2 sets for me. Last were road attacks for ?140 all in (was nearly 2 years ago, so may be more now), complete with free brew, biscuits and a few good maintenance tips. I'd deffo trust him with my bike before any dealer mechanic.

Cheers Keith
