Handlebars

Looking for replacement handlebars for naked 2003 SV650 to increase comfort.

I would prefer bars that are a bit wider, possibly the same height or a bit higher than originals and without the need to renew cables/brake lines.
Renthal make good bars but exact models would be appreciated if possible.

Would bar risers give improved comfort with original bars?

Wider AND higher is unlikely unless you are going to get custom cables made.

It tends to be if you want to go higher you need to go narrower and vice versa.

Wot Ape said. I have Renthal low road bars on my curvy. They are slightly higher and further back than standard. I have an inch of the bars sticking out each side (it looks like matching end weights) as the cables/brake lines aren't long enough to do anything else.

Renthal ultra-lows are the same (ish) shape as the originals, but are a little wider and the rake on your wrists is less. As others have said, you will need custom cables if you wanna change too much from standard
