Hi all,
Firstly Happy New Year....not to ask for some advice.
i want some new rearsets and quite like the look of these:

I've emailed them and they only come in black but I'm not sure what they would look like on a Blue curvey. I'm going to powdercoat the wheels black and I'm getting a dark db screen so it will sort of have a blue/black theme.
So what dya say......yes or no???:-D
PS They do some for the SRAD which I beleive to be the same fitment as the curvey SV. (I hope)
i dont think black would look as good as silver, but then i had a yellow bike, so i could be wrong

Correct.
Correct.
Agreed. Blue and black aways go together. That's why I make sure the wife stays the same colour.

If you buy 'em, and you don't like 'em, I'll give you £100 for 'em ;) I think it'll look a little odd, but not terrible. Silver is better though. Odd that they don't do a silver set really.
It's really annoying they don't do silver. I'm just not sure they'll go with the silver frame/swinging arm. Anyone good with photoshop??? :)

OSF are quite similiar looking, well made and are available in silver...
Hi
i want some new rearsets
sold
did you win them?
Nope :( but they have quite a few on eBay at various times so I can wait for some more to come up. (Just checked the SRAD ones are still for sale, I just put that link up as they show what they look like and they were the first ones I came to.)
OSF Andy??? Tell me more.
We've just fitted OSF rear sets, you can see pics here.

These here:

Often on Ebay USA. Never actually seen them in the flesh, I nearly bought some a while back but at the time the silver ones were unfinished aluminium, not anodised, so that put me off.
Still want more opinions on the balck ones. Will the black coating come off or is it black all the way through?
It will be just a coating, but I'd imagine it would be pretty hard wearing.
IMO though, silver would look better.

Don't forget the important thing with these is when you ride it in which case no one will notice the colour. Black will be FINE IMHO :)
Well they arrived today and are on the bike! I think they look good...will post pics when I've cleaned the bike a bit as I'm too ashamed at the moment!!
