Urgh this is horrible... I've got a sweet tooth, now christmas and new year are out of the way I've cut right back on the amount of sweets and junk I've been eating.
Today I mostly feel like sh*te, I knew I would but not this bad.
I cant think straight, I go from being cold to warm really quickly and now I have a pounding headache.
Going cold turkey from a christmas sugary high is not fun.

I'm drinking plenty of water and decafinated tea as well.
I am at this precise minute fighting the urge to go to the canteen and get a chocolate bar.

maybe you should wean yourself off it, reduce your sugar intake to whatever level you think is best a bit grdually
like when people stop smoking and they have those patches of ever decreasing size
Matt
Dont resist....Resistance is futile.
*Wanders off to the chocolate machine*

I've started a complete diet for the sake of been overdrawn in my overdraft. My diet is called eat outta mums fridge not the fast food ones! But seriously I have been going past places like dominoes going mmm should I, then i go "No fatty no!"
This might sound obvious, butdon't take any money to work.
At one point I was having bacon butties everyday, and the growing waist line to show for it. I started taking lunch with me to work, but no money - so I couldn't nip to the shop for a buttie or a chocy bar. This helped massivly in the waist department and also the bank department.

My BMI (which, i must stress is a guildine and not gospel - it dosnt account for many factors) shows me to be borderline underweight

Morbidly obese by my BMI me :D
i know bmi doesnt work for everyone, athletes, weightlifters but for general jo public its not a bad place to start. Im obese according to bmi and need to lose 4 stone. according to weight watchers I need to lose 5. i know im overweight and am going to lose weight for me. but also if I want to eat a bit of choc i will. i chose the high cocoa stuff and just have a square it cures me
Im overweight - 26/27 according to the BMI so I am looking to cut back slightly. Ive always been at the upper end of the acceptable anyway so my target is to lose a stone in weight and start hitting the gym more.

And this one i keep telling my missus, 20 mins of rampant sexual intercourse loses a heck of a lot of calories, she wont believe me though :(

Sugar's the ultimate food, eat nothing but sugar and you not only get immensely fat, you also die of malnutrition

Fizz...Just how much chocolate, sweets and sugar have you been eating to feel this way? I find your condition completely mind boggling!
I can concurr about the coffee, wicked stuff it is and I drink ridiculous amounts daily. This will change.
I kicked off a new regime today which involves large amounts of press ups and a variety of leg raising exercises. Fortunately all with the idea of toning up some more, rather than loose excessive body baggage.

Erh quite alot :shaking:
I reckon probably at some point 3 - 4 bars of chocolate a day and then on top of that 3 or 4 cups of tea as well, possibly a huge take away coffee as well.
I think it was a combo of the sugar crash and the caffeine crash as well. I feel alot better today.

Your body needs a certain amount of salt, sounds like you either are or have been dehydrated possibly...
Have you have that stomach virus thats going around ? That might be the cause of it.
If so eitehr nip to the shops and get some Lucozade or something like that. Or failing that put some salt and sugar into a pint of water and drink that, It wont taste nice, but it will rehydrate you.

I felt like that for 3 or so weeks after I had the intial stomach upset which lasted 3 days.
Drink plenty of water, dont glug at it, just keep taking small sips from a glass or a sports drink bottle. Stick to plain food like toast, pasta, chicken etc and just eat what you can when you feel hungry.
And dont worry about the weight loss, if your still not well then go back to the Dr's again. The best way to tell how dehydrated you are is to look at the colour of your wee.... the darker the colour the more dehydrated you are. For a normally hydrated person it should be the colour of straw.
Try some lucozade or some sports drink it really is better than just drinking water.

If you find that the small glugs still make you ill, suck on ice cubes.... but whatever happens, get fluid inside you :)

I always found lemonade is best however pepsi's more fun as it tastes and smells exactly the same on the way out!
