On the black Sv I'm pretty sure the brake side at least is a gixer one. When I bought it off Dan he said he put it on and it is different to the one off Suze cause shes standard,
my question is what year gixxer rearsets would fit my 2001 curvy, and is it a straight swap? and also can you swap the other side too( gear side)
I'm no good with the technical stuff, i rather like the set on Dave cause they're all shiny with no naff rubber
HELP

Do you mean the complete rearset or just the peg or lever or hanger?
AFAIK the peg is the same as the curvy sv but without the rubber bit on (according to Northwind)
I had some Gixxer SRAD pegs and hangers on my sv for a while which use the same hangers as siad the peg doesn't have the rubber bit on not sure if I used the standard levers or the SRAD ones though

GSXR SRAD rearsets are what you want then not 100% sure if the levers fit but i think they do

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110203486101&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001 does this appears to be what it is? and how much should i be able to pick em up for? oh and whats that reservoir thing all about?

If it's just the pegs you don't like just get some SRAD pegs i'm presuming that your hangers are ok on your bike
Oh and i managed to pick up left and right rearsets for £25 not so long ago

think so. they haven't dropped off yet!! Chris gets his mitts on Suze next month so she will finally be reborn, but Dave is quite a high standard to be aiming at, and she is well........she might fall to bits on dismantling, but i have plenty of replacments just in case

The reservoir is the brake fluid pot for the rear cylinder, will need swapping for the SV one (2 minutes of a job, only a rubber pipe)

Shouldn't need to mess with the reservoir to change the pegs... Have I misunderstood the question :-s
As far as I'm aware- and I've used both- the SRAD and SV-S assemblies are identical apart from the pegs, since (as Dirtydog says I say) the SV pegs have the rubber added (I had a rubber bit come loose and to my surprise, the pegs were the same underneath)

She was wondering what the reservoir was on that ebay listing.
So, if the whole assembly is identical, whats the point of swapping?
(i.e why not just pull the rubber off the SV peg)
Any difference in position of the pegs etc?

Ah, I missed that, cheers.
I'd just swap the pegs, if it was me. Or, get the whole assembly and have a handy spare lever, if the price is right.

So is there any actual difference between SRAD and SVS hanger?

Don't think there is with the SVS.
