I bought these fairings off ebay about a month ago for my K4 SV650S for £41 with delivery, which I thought was a bargin! The one on the left is brand new, but the one on the right was taken off a bike that had had a little off. No cracks or anything bad, just a little scuff the size of a 20p and a few tiny scratches here and there. They are also the wrong colour blue for my bike :(

Just wondering if anyone knows any good cheap places to go in the Bristol/Gloucester (or Portsmouth) area to get the one repaired and both of them sprayed Candy Grand YC2 blue? Also, what kind of price am I looking to pay? A ballpark figure would do, as I haven't got the foggiest

Thanks in advance!

Wow, I just got a quote from someone and they were asking for £175! I'll have a better look around I think

I looked at a full respray and was quoted around £600 so £175 sounds quite reasonable to me, compare your £216 to £420 for new colour matched ones.

hey dude, dont rush into getting them done yet, someone on this forum helped me out a while ago with details of a sprayer, but as it turns out i wrote my bike off in november so wont be getting the new lowers now. as i dont know the guy personally and only spoke via email (although id trust him as he is the flat mate of a mod on here). so i have emailed him explaining that i wont be needing the spray but asked if its ok to pass his details to you, im waiting for a reply....

will be a LOT cheaper than £175

Hi

I do motorcycle fairing repairs and repaints. I will beat the quote of £175. I will do It for £130 posted back insured a couple of days later.

PM if interested
