I like the editing, especially at the fuel station. One thing though, lift your eyes, you don't look far enough ahead on open roads.

ere I'm sure i could recognise some of those roads,
maybe you could do with putting your cam at a different angle.
I quite liked that, for the fact of 'where the bloody hells them moors' sure i've ridden down that street
really quirky well done you.
where were you then?

That's random.............but entertaining. :) Its kinda like big brother, watching someones day lol. Its interesting to watch how you ride and where you look ect.

One thing though, when I was watching it I kept lifting my head up, like I wanted to look further ahead. It was probably just the camera angle

Keep them coming:p

Thanks for all the replies everyone, good to have positive feedback after a 3 hour edit job :)

As for not looking far enough ahead, it's just the camera angle lozzo - I spotted the audi and van tail gating each other further down the valley so I was expecting them coming up fast... which they did. **** heads.

Yeah the 'moors' are up towards scammonden and the nont sarahs pub - one of my favourite rides :) think there's a road direct to there from halifax/elland way...

What were you using to record the footage mate?

www.dogcamsport.co.uk (http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk) - a dogcam pro 520 linked into a sony MiniDV camera in my backpack.

And as for the camera pointing down - bast, only noticed how bad it was once I played the whole thing back on youtube. Also, its because the position where I mount the camera on my helmet suited the position of my cbf600 perfectly but the sv gives you a much more focused posture, hence the camera is pointing at the tarmac :( ah well, next one coming soon :D

p.s. I've got another one on youtube "Ride to squires" with a pmapp & sv_to_gsxr and another guy who's name I can't remember, we did it in august last year. If there's any forum meets in my area, I'll do my best to rig up the camera & tag along :) get some forum videos going :)

Nice video! I liked the disapproving head shake when the audi and van went past on your side of the road. Different camera angle next time would be great.

it was well worthy of my disapproval nod lol. Usually reserved for rude people or idiots posting clips of themselves doing 189mph on youtube.

Great vid, i chuckled at the fact you video'd yourself at the petrol station, and liked how you scanned about wondering if a bit of snacking was in order whilst paying fuel

Got a link to any of them?

yeah, it makes a much more interesting vid with other bikes. Just a bit tricky snatching good weather & time off work and all this co-insiding with mates available. the next ones i do will defo have other bikes & better angles :)

This is one from the Ace Cafe toy run - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZdGUXRRZ8I

There are some others on there from Reading toy run too but they have christmas songs over them and I for one can't listen to another xmas song for at least 11 months

nice vid. my mum's just bought one of those cameras you can mount all sorts of places. have already looked to "borrow" :smt077 it, but the straps aren't long enough to go on the top of my helmet. how do you fix it there?

My aplogies for the comment about the cam angle, I thought it was a forward obs thing.

My mate's cam is mounted on his helmet with velcro. He bought a pair of those stick on knee slider velcro patches and cut each in half and stuck them on each side of both his lids. this makes it possible to angle the cam where he likes easily and gives him an option on what side to mount it on both lids.

I really liked it. I would like to play that to every car driver I know just to give them a bikes perspective of things. Makes a change to see someone posting video of them riding normally (i.e. not speeding or doing 189 wheelies).

Looking forward to the next installment!

cheers bud, it's "Mark Ronson feat. Paul Smith - Apply Some Pressure" taken from the album 'Version' (track 8). for future ref, I always add info to the youtube description about location/time/date/music/equipment used... :) just in case there's anything anyone ever wants to know :)

I used to use a velcro mount like the 3rd one down with duct tape to act as a wind shield... - (http://dogcamsport.co.uk/helmetcammounts.htm#suction) but I knew I was buying a nice new arai helmet so I bought the top one - suction mount...
