Hi All.
Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but some advice would be much appreciated. When riding my SV650s recently I have started to notice a kind of whirring noise, which is more apparent as the bike slows down or I am at least not accelerating. This may just be as the engine noise covers it up.
It sounds lilke something rotating and gets slower as the bike slows down. So I thought it might be something to do with the chain / sprockets, but it weirdly sounds more like it is coming from the front rather than the left.
I have a lower fairing fitted and thought it could be something to do with vibrations but then this wouldn't speed up or slow down when I am pulling up to traffic lights etc.
THe bike was serviced just over a month ago and I am sure I nevre had this problem before that and I think it is getting worse. Or maybe I am listening for it more and am getting paranoid. I have done about 1000 miles since it was serviced.
I have checked the other threads but can't find any info on thistype of noise, but sorry if someone has brought htis up before. It is a standard 2004 bike other than the lower fairing and it has done 17,400 miles.
Any advice would be great.
Cheers
