Red seat on new SV

Where did that idea come from. I was in George White in Slough yesterday and saw the SV with a red riders seat and black pillion seat.
Why not have a red pillion aswell. It looks like something you would borrow while getting yours repaired or something.
If anybody out there has the red seat, I am in no way slagging your choice. I'ts just my opinion, and as we all know, opinions are like ar5eholes cos everybody has their own.


On a side note, it would look better on a red bike.

I will do. It looks rubbish and the only excuse for having a red seat is cos you've just got the bike and haven't had the replacement black seat delivered yet ;)

I does look like they have a surplus of red seats (maybe the intern ordered the wrong colour code!)

I think it looks alright on black or red bikes, but silly on other colours. I also think it's ludicrous the pillion seat doesn't match.

Didnt somebody who'd been to the NEC say it was only the "Sport" Model that had the red coloured seat the standard models have a black one ? I mght be wrong though.

Not as brain damaged as the people at kawasaki, their bikes seem to be getting more and more cross eyed every year!

I think the red seats can look pretty slick. I saw a 2007 R1 at On Yer Bike and it was sexy as hell. Tempted me to do silly things.
