OK so I had a rubbish day today. It was one of those days where everything anyone had to say to you was about something at work that had gone horribly wrong, or some relative/friend who had been taken to hospital. Then someone that I'm taking over managing was being an mean and awkward bitch becase she's peed off that I've got the job and she hasn't. Then I had to work til almost 10pm ON A FRIDAY EVENING.
So I was unhappy :(
Then I got home and found a letter from the bank refunding me £190 because they were thieving barstewards and shouldn't have taken it in the first place.
And now I feel a whole lot happier :D :D
So it seems that money (and the odd shot of Sambuca) does in fact bring happiness :smt045

well glad you're feeling happier, but really work until 10 pm on a friday ?
so shopping this weekend then :-s
Cheers Mark.
See, I'm perfectly aware that money can't buy me love or happiness.
Luckily I am well endowed with both, so surely having a big wodge of cash AS WELL isn't going to hurt?
I think I should perform some kind of experiment to settle this matter once and for all. If everyone on here sends me £100 it will go some way towards proving this conclusively once and for all.
Come on, seriously, don't you NEED to know? Isn't that certainty worth a measly £100?
Please leave all monies in a plain brown envelope behind the third urinal on the left at Baker Street Station
Thank you.
Bear.

yes, you got me - It was tempting to invest in Bear's experiment, but i did in fact go shopping yesterday with the proceeds
no shoes though - faced with the decision of either a new pair of boots :smt049 or paying for the Silverstone trackday, the biker in me won through!

What???? You mean you didnt try the old "but i need new boots for my trackday....cant go and wear these ones again, theres bound to be another girlie biker who will bitch about me behind my back if i do" argument to convince yourself to splash out for both?
I'm dissapointed
