has been destroyed and I'm well f***** off, its gonna cost me to get this sorted though I'm gonna clasim it all back i hope....have too see

Well I left my car parked on road last night, got back this morning, no car I thought it had been stolen at first, where my car was there were two concetet bollads wiped out and bits of my car everywhere.....my car!:(:(

Turns out it was rear ended, but smashed at the front and back, got detials of the clown who hit, but its waiting for insurance companies is long, but at least I have another to drive for the time being, which is good.

Christ that's a bit unlucky! My parents had the same thing in Belgium years ago; their car parked safely outside and it got massively rear-ended by a drunk driver who couldn't even see properly. My best guess is that you have every right to an immediate courtesy car thanks to the other guy's insurance, then loads of money to get a nice new car, here's hoping anyway.

Yeah had I been inside it may have been a different story, doesn't bear thinking about:o

I don't know actually what happened, but I know da car is fubar, hit up the backside and front end destroyed by all accounts, its leaking fuel, so it maust have been a high enegy impact. When I go to the pound, I'll take some photos!

Yes I wanted to exchange it for a van, that was what I hoping to do.

But the new car is gonna cost me £1150, which a pain didn't want to be spending that really. But now, I may try to recover the purchase cost of the car from the guy who hit mine. Its his fault I'm spending out.

This also means I have to have to have a van now, casue my new car will an ickle 1.1l so not much power there:( But its cheap on fuel and insurance:)

Its will all be in the hands of the lawyers now, if they aren't any good then I will set mine lose on them.

Well I have another big grin on my face this morning, I got a settlement through for the car, there are giving £700 for it:D

The best bit about this is that I paid £600 for it 2003, so I got more than I paid for it, no one in there right mind would have paid that much for it:smt046...

So yes who ever hit my car has done me a good service:p

My new car is will now cost £450 in total! So not bad which leaves plenty to spend on bikes! Hell Yeah!

You got any pictures of it?

Yeah we I get around to uploading them, it looks quite bad but the main problem was the twisted frame of the car, along with a fubar cooling system and two tyres wrecked;)

I assume you got your claim settled minus the excess? I had the same problem with a drunk, unlicensed, uninsured car thief last May and although I got the insurance payout within ten days I've had to resort to the courts to get my excess. The solicitors then managed to serve the papers to the car owners address and not the defendant's...
