Can't beat the Sun Centre after a few beers for late 70s styled dilapidation and surrealism. :)

Prague is beautiful, also, the Pride of Bilbao is a good night out... Not that I'm a stag... I'm one of the worst kind... a hen.

Doe Bay should be ideal for a stag do.

Went to Riga in Sept for mine

Decent beer, nice old town centre, 'friendly' locals - if you're paying
We stayed in a very good hotel - still dirt cheap - so we had a nice base to come back to and drink in the hotel bar till late
Also found a pool hall to while away a couple of rainy hours.

We hooked up with a local 'fixer' who sorted out going to a shooting range which is in an old underground nuclear bunker. UZI 9mm !!!!!
He also puts together a night out for your first night to get your bearings - we chucked him £20 each for his services, but we got free entry to night clubs all night and his local knowledge.

I can get hold of some details (hotel, activities, fixer) from my best man if you like.......

Bratislava is rubbish - don't go there (mine was the worst stag do I've been on!).
A lot of places in Dublin (apparently - a friend told me he experienced this) don't like stag do's and refuse entry to stag parties
Barcelona is ok (Cafe Baghdad is worth a visit)
Wouldn't go to Nottingham - been there twice on stag do's, neither been much cop.

I'd probably try Pamplona next time.

Prague.

There are some companies that do Stag Tours, I was on one of these. Was well worth it. I could find out the name if you want. The benefit was we had a local to take us to the clubs that were good, to brief us on where we were going and generally to look after us. Also good to organize stuff for the day time as well.

The food was great and the prices are excellent, my only complaint was they don't know what Cider is over there; luckily we started each night in the Three Lions an ex-pat pub. Would recommend that as a base. Ah the memmories...

Have you looked at Dubrovnik... it's are as cheep as Prague... And Better in July as by the coast.... Only thing about Prague is all those beautiful women who offer themselfs for trade can get in the way of a good pee up.:smt119:smt040

We were in Krakow in Poland recently. V cheap flights, v cheap booze, LOTS of nightlife but not overrun with stag dos. Loved it.

Depends what you want to do. If all you want to do is look at (etc) naked women and drink cheap beer then eastern europe is fine. The countries are great too but the organised stag parties dont really have a cultural agenda.
After about 3 trips it gets a bit boring so for my mates last year I booked surfing in Portugal. It was brilliant and as it was in May we got some decent sun.

Can think of the name of the company we used but it was one of the big ones you can find with google.

what more could you possibly want from life?

:smt045 think thats what we are planning on, as it will be most peeps first time on a stag weekend away.

although when we all used to go on holiday we tend to mess about in the pool drinking all day, then out clubbing at night, thats why i thought of ibiza.

Can do a speciality activity of shooting in warsaw.. opportunity to fire a Magnum hand gun made famous by Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry

Seems like they do the whole magnum, AK47 experience in quite a few european cities, seen a friend's stag video which was hilarious as he had a magnum one handed, arm extended and recoil was phenominal

... just something bit different to paintballing
(no, I've never tried it)

I have seen an alarming increase in groups of the great unwashed coming to the Marbella/Puerto Banus area over the past couple of years for this kind of Borgia-esque type activity.

Cheap flights to Malaga and accomadation if not peak July/August time pretty reasonable. Puerto Banus would be the place for night time fun with loads of great bars and wall to wall girls of many nationalities.

If the Welsh charm and charisma does not work, on leaving the main area of the port one can,( I am led to believe!) find oneself being accosted by all manner of friendly girls willing to give the nice visitor an economical end to his evening!

Do not believe the stories that it is a destination only for the rich and beautiful, many normal people come here and have themselves a jolly old time. HTH.
