I had a look around, that seems about the going rate, (rrp ?70ish), they're on Busters too for ?39.99.
Interesting!

I'd guess its last year base mdel and had an RRP of ?79.99 but they need to make space for new stock.
Saying that my Spiderman lid is HJC and i paid about ?150 or it brand new, so I guess HJC just aint that expensive a brand.
HTH
Could it be that they are a "large".
No good to me so it may as well be a quid for all the use it is to me.
I have had bargains in the past cos I have a xs, not the best selling size so plenty to get rid of at silly prices.

If they have the size you want, grab a bargain before it's too late.

You have to try helmets on, you can measure your noggin but that's only a small part of the sizing, it's also down to shape. HJC's sizes are weird too, I take an M in Arai (I think) but my HJC is an extra small!

I have a HJC FG-14 and its a medium. My head size is 54cm measured around just above the ears, if that helps you??

I'm an S in most helmets yet my HJC HQ-1 helmet that I just bought is an XS!
I am one size smaller i HJC helmets than most brands. Also suits my weird head shape better than anything else I have tried - but may not suit yours! Personally I wouldn't buy without trying one at a shop first.

Mine's arrived today - (as always, quick service from Busters)
I know you're supposed to go & try them on etc, but at ?40 for a spare / pillion helmet I couldn't say no.
It's actually (by sheer & utter luck I might add) a pretty good fit!! Not as good as my 'proper' lid, but it'll certainly do the job when needed.
Oh, and it looks really quite nice too, I went for the matt black one. As for sizes, my Arai is a medium and couldn't fit any better if it was made of PVC, this one's a Large and fits well too... work that one out!?!
