I have just been offered a job working for interserve construction,

Now iv done as much reaserch as i can and grilled the manager in my interview, however, someone said the other day that they werent very good to work for?

However i cant find someone to grill about what they are actually like to work for?

If any one else out there can help... please let me know?

PS google only throws up the usual big websites and as you cant really slander someone on the internet for fear of being sued i cant find alot on them!!

Cheers All

Alex

They've got a big contract with the MOD for various areas of 'estate management' (buildings etc) such as cleaning, repairs etc...I imagine they must do lots of other things.:D

The only down side I can envisage is that they have to compete for the various contracts with other firms...which ultimately means trying to do the job as cheap as possible...I wonder sometimes how much they pay the staff.:(

I've done work for them on an MOD contract, the staff seemed fairly happy with their lot on the whole. I remember they lost a few MOD jobs in a rationalisation move a couple of years ago AFAIR...

This is a good point - I should have made it transparent in my previous post.

We have them at RAF Northolt. One of the lads who used to work in our department moved over to them. If I see him around I'll try and get a bit of info. All the Interserve lads I have dealings with seem happy enough in their work.
