Want to get those two bolts made in Stainless.

There is a company that do make copies but they need originals to copy. So condition not too important.

Anybody got them lying around surplus to requirements?

Ta.

I just used 2 stainless M10 stainless allen bolts with anti-shake stainless nuts

Prob cost a fraction of the price ;)

Yes it would be cheaper, but the OEM bolts are "shouldered". The rear is only 10mm anyway but the front is 12mm and cos I use my back brake a lot I reckon that the hole may well get elongated due to braking and acceleration stress. Could use a 12mm bolt in the front though.

Thanks for the offer tactcom7, but at 7 quid each in stainless they'd be an expensive loan.:)

Still, don't ask, don't get. :D

Still wondering if I can justify 20quid to do the job anyway. :smt107

I use an M10 bolt and i have done that for about 4 years ago, as i lost one of the bolts somewhere on the M4, and to date has had no ill effects. I use my rear brake a lot as i commute.

Yep, I think I'll go with ordinary bolts. M10 rear and M12 front.

Thanks for the input guys:D
