Metcheck is showing it to be good at the weekend, dry both days in N. Wales. Anyone fancy resurrecting last Sunday's cancelled ride?

Right!!! The weather is dry all weekend, so roads will be dry! No excuse then, lets do this thing!

I suggest using my route from last weekend. Meet up at Ponderosa at 11:00. Anyone not sure how to get there, post on here and I can give directions or meet you and guide you in.

Approx 1 hour ride to a nice cafe, then choice of routes home, depending on how folks feel.

Count me in.

I'm in dire need of a ride-out after being cooped up at Cranwell all week with nothing to do most of the time.

Do you want me to meet up with you somewhere along the way. Chester Services is a popular meeting point.

I'll be coming from Manchester, so if you want, i can detour and pick you up at your house.

The choice is yours.

Speedy Claire

Whats the plan?? is it meeting up at the Ponderosa or the plan from last Sunday ie. meeting up at the petrol station near Ruthin or somewhere?

Just got back from an impromptu ride-out, the majority of which is around the route Luckypants has proposed for tomorrow's outing. Conditions were great although the wind was quite strong around Llyn Brenig and there was the odd patch of loose gravel to watch out for but other than that, fantastic.

Have a good ride tomorrow, wish I could join you but I'm being the perfect son and cooking Sunday lunch for my mum!

Like GLSUK says, conditions are good at the moment. Lots of bikes around today on the A4212 and Bala area. Roads are dry and clean, daylight until 5.00 pm.... lets do this thing.

Anyone that wants to come tomorrow and does not have my mobile number, PM me with yours (so I know who it is when you call to say you are late! :smt074) and I'll send it to you.

Well that was fun. nice to meet Mike (Regency23) and Nick (not yet registered). Nick was co-opted by Pete at the Ponderosa and seemed to enjoy the ride.

Dusted some sports bikes again - more of the point and squirt crew.

A thoroughly enjoyable ride with great company.

Thanks all.

I have to say, we were all very impressed with your riding and enjoyed riding with you. I know that when I'd only been riding for a couple of months, I wouldn't have been able to keep the pace you did (and safely too).

Ignore my comment earlier (I was only throwing BluePete's sarcasm back at him).

Ride safe and hopefully we'll get the chance for another ride before the North Wales Weekend.

Well said James. All said in jest I know.

For me it was a great day out. Hadn't been out on the bike for nearly a month and together with new tyres and the serviced shock it was good to get some demanding roads under them but at an enjoyable pace.

Good company, plenty of bantering and we all survived THAT road.

Just a shame some of the others weren't there to join us.

Thanks LP.:D
